Our graduates can pursue careers worldwide in various roles such as: Specialization in the private sector Graduates, in addition to various fields such as finance specialists, can also find employment in international institutions such as the United Nations (UN), the European Union (EU), the World Bank, as well as in banks and financial institutions. The ITU-TRNC Architecture program, established as the first "Digital Architecture" program at the undergraduate level in Turkey and TRNC, comprehensively addresses the stages of design, analysis, planning, production, and reuse in conjunction with contemporary digital technologies. It not only focuses on the competent use of digital technological tools and software in architectural professional practice but also aims to cultivate students who possess technical knowledge and insight into how these technologies and mathematical methods are generated and can be developed. The program places a special emphasis on incorporating computer technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics into the design, analysis, planning, and production processes. It is supported by a curriculum that centers on this focus, has adequate technical infrastructure, and is led by a team of expert faculty members. Our students will be equipped with the skills to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams on largescale projects such as social innovation, prototype development, and software production and improvement. Our graduates can take on roles in national and international architectural offices, construction firms, material and system manufacturers, as well as municipal and relevant ministries in their respective countries. They may serve as: Furthermore, graduates can open their own offices and work in both national and international architecture offices, construction companies, material and system manufacturers, and relevant municipal and ministry positions. They can also explore opportunities in project and construction firms, architecture software companies, university research and development units, and a broad range of fields, from video games to virtual reality applications, thanks to computersupported architectural education. The ITU Architecture Department is the first accredited architecture program in Turkey thanks to accreditation provided by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). The NAAB "substantial equivalency" certificate signifies that the program is equivalent to architecture bachelor's and master's programs in the United States. The Interior Architecture program integrates theoretical knowledge and experiences about interior design with practical applications. It aims to train interior architects who can produce fast and easily applicable solutions in their professional lives and develop them further. During the first three semesters of the fouryear education period, students take common courses with other programs in the Faculty of Architecture. They complete a significant portion of their education in studios where they can interact on a onetoone basis with academics. This allows them to gradually form their own approach to interior design and exhibit their designs in various places throughout the year. Upon successfully completing their education and obtaining the title of "interior architect," our graduates can take on roles in the design and implementation stages of interior renovation projects for buildings or in the interior arrangements of newly designed buildings. Our graduates can work in various areas, including: With their comprehensive and versatile perspective on interior architecture gained through their education, students can gain experience in the production and marketing of interior architecture products in their professional lives, thanks to new approaches and modern technologies. Maritime Business Administration is a bachelor's program aiming to educate competent individuals in global maritime and shipping industries, focusing on ship management, ship financing or brokerage, maritime law, logistics and supply chain management. The program aims to produce graduates who can identify and solve maritime management problems by applying principles of management sciences. These individuals are equipped to meet the needs of maritime stakeholders, while also being aware of professional and ethical responsibilities in maritime management practices, and can analyze and interpret data. Graduates of this program can hold positions in both private and public sectors related to maritime, transportation, logistics, foreign trade, and maritime tourism. In the maritime sector, they can work in various fields such as: Moreover, they can take on middle and upperlevel managerial roles in international trade and logistics companies and work in the public sector within the maritime ministries and/or affiliated institutions of countries, as well as other ministries and state institutions related to maritime. This program incorporates the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) conventions specified in the Regulation on Seafarers and Pilot Captains by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey, covering the AII/1 and AII/2 curriculum programs. The program provides training in the conditions required for Distant Voyage Watch Officer / Long Voyage Captain, which is high in demand in the national and international maritime sector. The program, conducted entirely in English and with a uniform, integrates four years of theoretical, practical, and laboratory education. During the summer sessions of the 1st and 2nd years, students undergo threemonth opensea internships, and in the spring semester of the 3rd year, they have a sixmonth opensea internship. Upon graduating with the title of Marine Transportation and Management Engineer, students can begin their maritime careers as "Distant Voyage Watch Officers" after successfully completing the competency exams organized by the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs Seafarers Exam Center (GASM). Depending on their work experience, they can upgrade their licenses to become "Long Voyage Captains." Graduates can work in various areas, including: This program includes the AIII/1 and AIII/2 curriculum programs specified in the Regulation on Seafarers by the Republic of Turkey. Students receive fundamental engineering training alongside theoretical and practical education in ship main engines (diesel engines, steam turbines, gas turbines, etc.), auxiliary ship engines (boilers, pumps, separators, compressors, evaporators, etc.), and electrical electronics and ship automation. They will reach a level where they can follow international literature. The program provides education in the conditions required for Distant Voyage Engineer / Chief Engineer, which is in demand in the national and international maritime sector. Students in this program, in addition to their 4year theoretical and practical education, also undergo a 12month practical maritime training, enabling them to participate in the "Long Voyage Engineer" exams organized by the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs Seafarers Exam Center (GASM). Upon graduation, our alumni can work in various positions in different sectors, including but not limited to: In public institutions and organizations, as well as various sectors, maritime enterprises and factories In the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, students receive training in the design of all types of marine vehicles (ships, submarines, yachts, etc.). Students not only learn current design and production techniques, mathematics, and engineering courses but also take many professional courses related to ship design, hydrodynamics, ship movements and maneuvers, ship machinery, ship machine design and construction, ship resistance, ship management, shipyard organization, and more. They will reach a level where they can perform related practices. In addition, the young graduates, who successfully complete their education, acquire the skills to pursue their professions comfortably abroad, allowing them to continue engineering or academic endeavors all around the world. Upon successfully completing their education, graduates can: Work in offices for planning and project design, during the construction phase, or in the operation of businesses. The program is accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), a nonprofit organization based in the United States that accredits programs in applied science, engineering, technology, and computing at higher education institutions.
