What are the aims of this course?

The Computer Engineering program aims to educate qualified engineers who can produce solutions based on advanced computer techniques to meet the needs of society, institutions, and the industrial sector.

• It will train qualified engineers who specialize in information systems and technologies, computer-based systems, software methods, telecommunication concept and infrastructure, technology and social sciences.

For students admitted (enrolled) in the 2026–2027 Academic Year and thereafter, the first- and second-year educational activities of the Computer Engineering Program will be conducted at the ITU-TRNC Famagusta Campus, while the third- and fourth-year educational activities will be carried out at the relevant faculties of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in Istanbul, Türkiye.

For students admitted in the 2025–2026 Academic Year and earlier, educational activities will continue to be conducted at the relevant faculties of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The English Preparatory Program is offered at the ITU-TRNC Famagusta Campus.

What are my career prospects?

Our graduates can pursue engineering or academic work worldwide, work in public institutions or private sector organizations and engage in activities such as:

• Establishing, operating and developing software for information systems,
• Designing computer systems in research and development units,
• Production and Embedded System Development Specialist,
• Production and embedded system development,
• Providing services in areas such as information technology, finance, banking, healthcare, education, energy, telecommunications, and defence industries.
