STUDENT CLUBS
At our university, there are student clubs and societies to meet the academic, cultural, artistic, and scientific needs of our students. Additionally, social and cultural activities such as film screenings, technical trips, historical site explorations, conferences, and workshops are organized to contribute to the scientific, social, societal, and cultural development of students.
Literature and Debate Club
The aim of the club is to help students gain an objective and impartial perspective, develop their reasoning skills, improve their ability to express themselves confidently in front of society, and enhance their general knowledge level.
Entrepreneurship Club
The goal is to inform students about entrepreneurship and activate their entrepreneurial potential.
Coding Club
The Coding Club provides activities aimed at developing students' abilities in mathematical thinking, cognitive thinking, problem-solving, and understanding the relationships between events.
Software Club
Our goal is to bring together students interested in this field and raise awareness about software and entrepreneurship; to prepare them for the industry through training and programs, support the development of joint projects, and represent our university in various competitions. We aim to implement project environments and applications through societal collaboration.
Outdoor Sports Club
We aim to promote and develop outdoor sports by organizing training activities for those interested in nature sports. Additionally, we organize nature walks on the existing trails on the island, encouraging students to engage in outdoor sports, stay fit, socialize, and develop habits of being in harmony with nature.
Fishing Club
To encourage sport fishing and ensure that fishing is done in a planned way within specific ethical guidelines, training is provided by experts in the field. Additionally, students are informed about the necessary measures for the protection of aquatic life and sustainability of nature.
Search and Rescue Society
The purpose of the club is to raise awareness among students and the community about natural disasters and to minimize possible losses through preventive measures before disasters and correct interventions during emergencies. Search and rescue activities at our university are supported by the Cyprus Civil Defense Organization and the International University Search and Rescue Council, of which our university is a member.
