Course exemption and adaptation procedures for students admitted to our University through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) or through transfer, based on either Central Placement Score or Academic Achievement Score, are carried out by the relevant Adaptation Commission. These procedures are evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the ITU Directive on Course Exemption and Adaptation Procedures.

For students admitted to our University through DGS or transfer in the 2026-2027 Academic Year, the campus where they will continue their education is determined according to the program in which they are enrolled and the year/class level to which they are adapted.

Students admitted to the Computer Engineering, Economics and Finance, and Maritime Business Administration programs will complete their first and second years at the ITU-TRNC Famagusta Campus, while their third and fourth years will be conducted at the relevant Istanbul campuses of Istanbul Technical University. Students in these programs whose adaptation is approved for the third year or above will continue their education at the relevant Istanbul campuses of Istanbul Technical University.

The undergraduate education of students admitted through DGS or transfer to the Industrial Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Marine Engineering, Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering, Architecture, and Interior Architecture programs will be conducted at the Istanbul campuses of Istanbul Technical University.

Foreign Language Preparatory Education for all programs is conducted at the ITU-TRNC Famagusta Campus.
