The quality policy of ITU-TRNC Education-Research Campuses is to systematically improve and verify activities that support the education and teaching processes continuously.
History
On January 19, 2008, the Framework Protocol for the Establishment of Istanbul Technical University's Education-Research Campuses in the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (ITU-TRNC) was signed. In the academic year 2011-2012, the Preparatory School of Foreign Languages became operational, and infrastructure work began for undergraduate programs. In September 2012, the education and training activities started for the programs of Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
Undergraduate programs in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Economics and Finance, Architecture, Maritime Business Administration, Interior Architecture, and Industrial Engineering were approved and began admitting students in the 2021–2022 academic year.
