Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Prime Minister Tufan ERHÜRMAN visited ITU North Cyprus Continuing Education Center and made observations on the summer training courses which started in July.
ERHÜRMAN mentioned the significant progress achieved by fifty students who received educational courses that cover different subjects such as English language, computer, effective communication skills, philosophy, speed-reading, history of Cyprus, music, cinema and jewelry designing coordinated by ITU North Cyprus Continuing Education Center in collaboration with TRNC Prime Ministry.
ITU North Cyprus Continuing Education Center Director Mehmet Ülkü KURUKAFA said that they aimed to provide free education for successful children of the walled city of Nicosia during the summer to equip them with necessary skills and to provide them with the opportunity to improve themselves. KURUKAFA further said, “Even though it’s only been one month since our courses started, the success of the program exceeded our expectations.”
Prime Minister ERHÜRMAN thanked ITU North Cyprus Continuing Education Center for all the support they provided in coordinating educational courses.
