ITU North Cyprus Orientation Days organized to help the newcoming students with their adaptation process to university life ended with the 2017-2018 Academic Year Opening Cocktail which was held at Famagusta Campus on October 2nd, 2017 on Monday evening.

2017-2018 Academic Year Opening Cocktail started with the opening speech of ITU North Cyprus Rector Prof. Dr. Ercan KAHYA. In his speech, Rector KAHYA mentioned the international opportunities of the university and wished a great success to the newcoming students.

ITU Alumni Association Cyprus Director Mehmet ZORBA said that it’s a priviledge to study at ITU and the strong relationship between ITU Alumni Association Cyprus and the university will continue. The event continued with the dance performance by Yeni Boğaziçi Municipality Folk Dance Group and ended with mini concert given by Nicosia Municipality Orchestra Latin Group.

During the evening, students also had the chance to get information from Health, Culture and Sports Directory, Famagusta Youth Acdemy, Deep Diving School and Civil Defense Organization Famagusta Region Directory information desks.
