“Students’ Adaptation Period to the Island” Seminar Held at ITU-North Cyprus

A seminar titled as “Students’ Adaptation Period to the Island” was held on October 20, 2016, Thursday at ITU-TRNC School of Foreign Languages.

The seminar’s objective was to inform new students about the problems that they may face during their adaptation process and possible solutions to such problems. The seminar was given by the personnel of TRNC Police Headquarters: Inspector İlhan KUŞ, Inspector Haydar KARABACAK, Inspector Özcan DÖNMEZLER, Officer Murat ÖZKIRDAR, Officer Özgür BİÇENLEROĞLU and Officer İsmet PEKRİ.

During the seminar, students were provided with information regarding TRNC laws and guidelines, general traffic rules, student residence permit, and substance abuse.

ITU-TRNC Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Serdar KUM presented certificate of appreciation to the Police Headquarters personnel at the end of the seminar.
