ITU North Cyprus AKUT (Search and Rescue) Team Members Supported the Environment Protection Project

ITU North Cyprus-AKUT and EMU-AKUT who are both members of the International University Search and Rescue Council supported the “Think Clean” Environment Cleaning and Protection Project under the auspices of the TRNC Presidency.

The International University Search and Rescue Council launched a cleaning campaign with member universities’ AKUT teams from the 13th to the 16th December in order to support this Project. The campaign work which started in the Kyrenia region on the 14th December continued today in Famagusta.

During the clean-up that took place within the walls of Famagusta, Istanbul Technical University and Eastern Mediterranean University AKUT teams were joined by the Civil Defense personnel.
