Friendly Game Between Assembly Teams

The Football teams of the Legislative Assembly of the TRNC and Grand National Assembly of Turkey played a football match in Famagusta’s Canbulat Stadium. The ITU North Cyprus family, The TRNC Nicosia Embassy Undersecretary Yasin TEMİZKAN and other audiences watched the game which was officiated by the former referee Alper ALİGÜLLÜ.

 

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey’s two goals were scored by the Trabzon Representative Ahmet KAYA and the 23rd Period Afyon Representative Zekeriya ASLAN. The Legislative Assembly of TRNC’s one goal was scored by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Department Head Hüseyin AMCAOĞLU.

 

The Head of the Legislative Assembly of the TRNC Teberrüken ULUÇAY, Members of Parliament Ersan SANER, Erhan ARIKLI, Dursun OĞUZ, Hasan BÜYÜKOĞLU, Oğuzhan HASİPOĞLU, Sunat ATUN, Mesut GENÇ and some former members of parliament as well as bureaucrats played in the TRNC team.

 

At the end of the football match, a trophy ceremony was held and the football players received medals. The Head of the Legislative Assembly of the TRNC Teberrüken ULUÇAY thanked the guest team representatives and talked about his contentedness for having played a pleasant friendly game in a historical stadium.

 

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey’s football team’s goalkeeper and Bilecik Representative Fahrettin POYRAZ thanked the Head of the Legislative Assembly of the TRNC and pointed out his happiness towards the friendly game. POYRAZ also said that they are expecting to meet the Legislative Assembly of the TRNC team in Ankara soon for a re-match.

 

ITU North Cyprus’s Rector Prof. Dr. Ercan KAHYA AND Secretary General Dursun KOÇ took memory photos with the Nationalist Movement Party Kocaeli Representative and Galatasaray’s ex footballer Saffet SANCAKLI.
